A compilation of sample internal asessment activities and resources alongside multiple choice questions for use in classroom assessment for 360 Science.
Internal Assessment Activity tasksFor each Topic there is a set of assessment activities to use with students. Topics 1, 7 and 9 are covered by the Edexcel specimen material. All other topics have been commissioned for this CD. For each Topic there is a range of tasks focusing on HOW SCIENCE WORKS. Each task comes with teacher guidance and student materials. In addition many of the tasks have resources to support post-item follow-up including misconception wheels, word searches and revision crosswords.
Multiple choiceAll the legacy multiple choice questions have been filtered and selected for their relevance to the new specification. The questions in the database cover the content of the curriculum but they were not designed in the style of the new examinations. They are intended for use in the classroom to assess what students have learned; they are not intended to be used in mock papers.
